So! I have been having a sort of weird week, including a bizarre 48-hour flu-type thing that led to the following fever-induced conversation with my boss:
Him: But what if all the ghosts descend down the hill en masse?
Me: Then I guess we'll have to break out the zombie contingency plan and do the best we can.
Him: I don't know if that's going to work.
Me: Why not? Everyone has a zombie contingency plan.
Him: Yes, but shotguns are much less effective on ghosts.
Me: Not if they're filled with ro - oh my god, kill me now.
Okay, so I didn't actually say that last part, but it was close. Note to self: please do not mention the show you fangirl ridiculously hard at your job. Even while in a fever haze. And I'm not even going to bother explaining why we were discussing possible ghost invasion at work. It was just one of those days.
Anyway! On the good side, there has randomly been a ton of podficcing going on this week!
I have not had time to listen to any of them yet, thanks to an unexpected family visit (isn't that awesome, when they call the day before and are like, "Oh, and instead of just visiting one day like you thought, we're staying the weekend!" and then you get to clean frantically and rearrange your plans for the whole weekend? It's a good thing I love them) but I'm looking forward to listening to all of them as soon as I have time!
