Reading Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood- and this quote really stuck out at me- the kind of tie that always holds you to a person, whether it be good or bad.
It reminded me of my own relationship with Joe, and how badly he crushed me yet we still keep in touch and like to know what is going on with each other's lives.
You cant erase the bonds created by loving someone, as much as you might want to.
