Wow. So it's been since February 2006. Clearly I suck.
I finally came back to the first season last night. It was a bit hard to remember where I had left off. I thought I only had two episodes left but then I didn't recognize the summary for Nightmares at all. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was great, fun to see him so young. The story was really good - and scary! I was watching it by myself and the Ugly Man really freaked me out. I loved that Buffy had a nightmare about a test in a class she hasn't attended and hasn't done the homework for. I still have those! (Also: not remembering where my locker is or the combination.) SMG also acted the hell out of the nightmare of her dad breaking up with her. Very poignant.
But the end where Xander admitted he was still hot for Vamp!Buffy? That struck me as off and, frankly, dumb.
