Not really much to update on
I'm still working at Penny's and I'm still not really subbing at all, though I did get my name in at one school. I really need to get on the ball, though. I spent some time looking at bostonworks.com today to see if they have any new job openings, but nothing that was all that appealing. I completed as much of my application to Lowell Public Schools as I can, need to ask a couple of questions from a couple of different people before I can send it in, though. I need to call Chemsford (think that's how you spell it) again, too... because unless Cris is a better searcher than I am, I can't find the number I need to call to get on their sub list. After I take care of that (probably going to do all this tomorrow) I'm going get a list of towns in the area and call them all up, because I need to start making more money/getting my foot in the door at schools.
I would be lying if I said I didn't mind the free time, because I do really enjoy being able to relax a lot now that I'm settled here with Cris. However, I'm starting to get kind of restless and I'm long past the time I should have been subbing. For now I just need to keep myself motivated, so I don't start getting comfy with only working at Penny's.
