Who said it required any more concentration than walking?

Even if it doesn't they still are effected by gravity. If they were to fall asleep or be knocked unconscious they would fall all the same.

The same goes for standing up.

Yes, but you're saying that it requires concentration. Standing doesn't require concentration.

It does when you first learn how to do it. The same holds true with jumping, and improved jumping.
