Kitty Cat Dreams and Trapping Myself in Clutter While I think About Aphrodisiacs

The past few weeks have brought dreams of cats.
After a particular night, I dreamed of feral cats outside of an abandoned house. One large orange cat was inside of a cage while the other small black cat circled the cage. I looked at an old high school acquaintance who appeared and said, "they obviously want to mate, so why don't they?" These kitties had plenty have access to each other, but the orange one remained inside the cage while the other circled outside.
"They aren't going to mate while one of them is still inside of the cage" she told me in the most obvious "DUH" kind of tone.

A lot of things have happened since then. Commence the continuation of kitty cat dreams...

Last night I dreamed of sitting inside of a house with shiny wooden floors and sunlight flooding through the windows. It almost felt like a refurbished version of the abandoned house that I came upon in my last cat dream. The caged cat had changed color, but he was the same cat I had seen weeks ago. This time he was grey. He sat on my lap, turned his head, and welcomed me home with his paw.

Meow.

I could write more about that stuff here, but I don't feel like it. I feel like writing in my paper journal instead and drinking my peppermint tea.

Peppermint tea my best friend right now. Ginger pulls in closely at second place.
Once I read somewhere that peppermint is an anaphrodisiac. Wherever I read this was some kind of royal authority on herbs in the world of herb-y people. But it seems contradictory to my own experience with peppermint, which is that I feel very fresh and energetic and tingly. Fresh, energetic, and tingly lead to me wanting more sex. So this claim to peppermint's chastity-building qualities seems unlikely to me.
Some people don't understand how garlic can be categorized as an aphrodisiac, but I completely understand that one. It makes me feel overwhelmed by salivating hunger that I want to ravish whatever is in sight.

Jasmine, rose, ylang ylang...

St. John's Wort smells not-so-sexy. It is most definitely not an aphrodisiac. Did you know that it was used in medieval England to treat crazy people thought to be afflicted by the devil?

Too bad I want to see the devil more than I want to ward him off.

If the devil can crawl through my current barricade of random objects, he is more than welcome for tea. Peppermint.
