"Oh My God It's Chocolate!"

Hey what's up people! I haven't written in here for a long time. I know I said I was gonna write about my trip so I think I will do that now. So pretty much on the first day of the trip the grown-ups had to pack a bunch of crap into the trucks we were taking. Even though I am 18 now I guess that means I'm a grown-up, but I didn't help because I had no idea what I was doing, so hung out with the other "kids". So first I met EmmaLee and Lauren, they were pretty quiet at first and the only thing I knew about them was that they were 13. Then I met the boys! LoL. Jeremy...ya I admit at first I was attracted to him because out of all of them I got to know him the best. I found out that he lived in New Hampshire and that he is 17 and he likes a lot of weird wacky music. Then there was Sean who was kinda quiet but sweet and o ya he can do the worm! LoL. Then there was Sean's brother, Cayler. Her was going to be a freshman this year so I guess that means he is 14 or 15. He was a interesting kid. I connected well with him and I think he would make a koolie bro. So pretty much I hung out with the guys while other people were packing. We sat outside talking about thinks that we liked and what our schools were like. Then Jeremy and I had to go with my dad to get ice. That was pretty koolie because I got to talk to Jeremy one on one. He found out about my ex and how he has a house in New Hampshire and stuff like that. O ya and we found a busted soda in the ice chest and we used it as a spray can to write our names on the pavement. That was pretty koolie. Then when we got back we all watched TV and this is the funny part, we watched the Usher concert and all Lauren and EmmaLee wanted to see was Usher take his shirt off! LoL. They would yell at the screen and say "Come on, take your shirt off already!" LoL. Finally he did and the guys rolled their eyes and said "Why don't the girl dancers take their shirts off too?" I thought that was pretty funny. So after like 5 hours of packing we finally got to drive to Sand Wash the start of our river rafting trip. It took freakin' forever and what did we have to greet us??? Freakin' mosquitos! They were every where! So of course the kids didn't help unback either so we went into the river where there were hardly any bugs and talked about our favorite actors and actresses. Then when it got dark we put up our tents as fast as we could so we wouldn't biten anymore. Then we all hung out in Lauren and EmmaLee's tent. Ya we bonded really well in that tent. We played a lot of stupid games and talked about a lot of random stuff. I think the funny part was that Jeremy said that technically since he is 17 and I'm 18 we could legally have sex. I was like what the...I won't ask. Then he said he wasn't suggesting that we did and I was like good and I couldn't stop laughing. Then after the boys left EmmaLee was like "Do you like Jeremy?" and I said no. Because I didn't, but he was cute. So anyways, the next day we had to hear all this crap about being safe on the river from the ranger. Then finally I got to ride this solo ducky which pretty much looks like a blow up kiyak. It was so much fun paddling that think for 3 days during the whole trip. I went through some pretty big rapids and I didn't even fall out! Wooohooo go Thandi! Some of the grown-ups said I looked like I was a pro and had been doing this for years. But I haven't because that was my first time ever paddling or even being on a rafting trip. So that's koolie they think I'm fearless! I think the part I hated the most about the trip was havin' to take things on and off the big rafts for when we camped. It took almost 2 hours to do that. But the camping was fun. It was so pretty in the canyons, it was like a fairytale. Like who gets to lay on a beach of sand in the bottom of a canyon and look up at the moon and see stars and clouds and just no hear any cars or see any buildings? That was totally awesome. Some of the nights when we camped we had theme nights. Like pirate night and hawaiian night. For one night the girls and I had a talent show and OMG they made me sing. I was so freakin' nervous! But I sang anyways. That was pretty koolie because they thought I had a pretty voice. So anyways, back to the "kids" so at first I hung out with Jeremy a lot like when we were at our first camp sites. We went hiking once to the top of the canyon and looked down at everyone and I showed him a card trick and he tried drawing a portrait of me and I ended up with an eye patch in the pic because he messed up on my eye. LoL. So ya we bonded. But then it got messed up when I told EmmaLee and Lauren that I was attracted to him. Then he found out and then he acted like an asshole. So for part of the trip I was depressed because I had kinda lost a friend just cuz I thought was cute. So I made a new friend and that was Lauren. She is so freakin' koolie for a 13 year old. We talking a lot towards the end of the trip and now I miss her because I wish we all lived near eachother so we could hang out and see eachother. I wrote Lauren a letter when I got home and hopefully she will write me back. So ya after the rafting trip was over we were pretty much sad that we had to leave eachother. But we all so wanted to take a shower! I mean a week is a freakin' long time to go without bathing! Yes we went swimming in the river and washed up with soap but it wasn't like a shower. So before we went our separate ways we all ate at Ray's and then said our goodbyes. I almost felt like cryin'. All those people were soooo wonderful. I felt like they were my family. It was a time I will never forget.
