(no subject)
I want to apologize for being so danged negative last week. Geez, what was my problem? Anyway- I'm at work now and I thought I'd update.
This weekend was really good. God was really speaking to me and He continues to speak even through my weaknesses and iniquities that I struggle with. I got to spend a lot of time with Him and my friends too! Lori and Suzanne moved back to Milly and I got to see Laura #2 and her bf Will last night AND my former neighbor in Bell, Kelli. It was so great to see her!! Saturday AM I went to Beth Yeshua in Macon with Blair and Mallory and met up with some peeps from Wesley. I got to sit next to this precious old woman named Doris. She gave me the biggest hug when she met me and then she sat next to me during the service. So kind hearted. The Rabbi wasn't there AGAIN. He's pretty much always there but the two times that I have gone, he's not been there and we've just worshipped most of the time (coincidence? I think not....) A man did get up and teach. It was great.
Today, I woke up, fixed myself some decaf coffee, read my bible some, prayed, then went to my guitar lesson where I got to hold baby Gabe and his mommy, Chris, and I also got to see Jessica. First time all summer. It was a good lesson. I got to learn a new song (I was desperately in need of one! I had played the other three down to the ground) and I got to use a capo. After that I practiced piano. That too is coming along smoothly, thank you Jesus. Then I went back home, read my bible some more and prayed. God is so amazing. It's been a great weekend and I'm sure that it will be a great week too. :)
