Helloo...I'm in alsager again, so this entry is being brought to you LIVE from my dads' shiny laptop, which he was silly enough to leave in my room. Which seems to have been turned into an office or msomething.
Being at home is good, though there was some bad news thats really worrying me. But, no one else seems to fussed and mum seems to think oit'll work out for the best. But for now, I'll stay being worried. Iain can look after me, though.
I really, really need to get my photography assignment finished. Exams are in a week, and I know very, very little and have hardly done any revision. Eeeepppp..
I had actual interesting stuff to say, y'know. But then I came here and forgot it all as per usual.
I need a mask for my sisters 18th masquerade type thing.
I also want to break my feet so I can get into my bright pink, plastic wedge things that look like barbie shoes. Oh yes. I shall post pictures of them soon..but only those of you who appreciate the joy of tack will get it. They're from selfridges, dontcha know.
Oh, I did the election thing. 16 HOURS OF IT. Still, it was with nice people and only one guy accused me of being an evil lying politician. And we drank a lot of tea, ate biscuits and generally had fun. I was working at erewash, Kilroy silks constituency. Someone came in and told us he'd just booked kilroy silks car for illegal parking at the long eaton Asda. hehehehhe. Results of the election obviously disapointing, but looking more hopeful. Iain convinced me it was all good and as he understands politics, I believed him. He has theories and such on the lib dems next movements....Actually, it's really bloody pissing me off to be going out with someone clever, who is also cultured and well read. I'm used to being the intelligent one thank you very much.

We're anxiously awaiting the news from broadway of wether Iain's film will be shown at the festival or not. I hope so, it'll be fun and I can go around boasting about him. It's nice to have a boyfriend you can be proud of. Can you tell I haven't before?
Ummm..poodle baby is looking like the most gorgeous thing in the world. She's won everyone's heart and there's talk of keeping her...she's tiny, and fat and falls over a lot. I'll have to get some photos of her on here soon.
Exam stress is hitting badly, cos I've hardly done anything. Damn coursework has lasted too long....really shoulda done something at easter I guess. I've been stupidly busy (doing nothing) recently, and also quite ill. I had a mad attack of some crazy stomach pains that I thought had vanished for good on Friday, and ended up lying in bed crying for ages. Iain looked after me..apperently they're similar pains to what he gets. Great....cos chron's disease is the MOST FUN EVER! Though I very much doubt I have that, probably just a stomach ulcer. My legs are evn more swollen, and still hurting so I should probably see a doctor...heh, I;m broken these days you know.
I got an ancient book on 35mm photography today whilst trawling the charity shops of beeston (why can I never find anything good in them? And when I do, it's not in my size. Grumble.) and it's very helpful, but the photos of people with 80s big hair are making me laugh. Those ridiculous pny tails with huge scrunchies balanced on the head...I should really scan some in to show you. It's brighten your day, it would.
Still need a job after exams. I want to work in waterstones or fopp, or somewhere good...but I imagine I'll end up in an offic eagain. Still, I'm not so fussed as long as I get paid. I have to pay my rent, buy food and generally live...and also pay back my overdraft extension. It's a hard life for a student who pays for herself you know. No, really.
Kylie's on tv, and I thought she was crap but she's just started singing the nick cave duet song...and we love nick cave. At least, Iain loves nick cave and I'm being bullied into it.
I want the new stephen malkmus album. And the new ben folds. Sadly, this will require me to have some money...must stop spending so much. I don't even know how I do it.
Anyway I've bored you all enough for now, so I shall return to the land of revising fundementals of molecular evolution. It's the crazy life of a biochemist you know!!!
