Family History: Hiro was orphaned at the age of 5 after his parents died in a car accident. With no known blood relatives, he was placed under the care of a family friend, Ryu Matsumoto.

Life History: Soubi was orphaned at five and taken in by his mother's co-worker, Matsumoto Ryu. Ryu was the headmaster of a prestigious boarding school and intended for Hiro to take over from him. He was often cold towards Hiro and, after losing his temper one day, hit the boy. Originally intending to apologise, he realised how quickly Hiro submitted when afraid. Over time, it began to happen a little more. Enjoying the control, Ryu's mind began to go to darker places and, some years later, when Hiro was in his teens, the sexual abuse began, though it wasn't as frequent. Hiro, being raised into this violent and unstable life became submissive and easily controlled. Physical contact of any nature makes him wary and he had no friends as a child, spending his time in class, with Matsumoto or simply alone. There was a brief investigation after an anonymous source reported a fear for Hiro's safety. Nothing ever came of it due to a lack of evidence and Hiro's unwillingness to speak. A bribe may or may not have been involved. After an argument, when Hiro was 17, Ryu threw him out of the school. Hiro was taken up by a student outside of the school, Ryu intending to prove that Hiro had nobody else. Once again, however, Hiro found himself in an abusive relationship, this time the abuse was emotional. Hiro, craving love, would do anything Ritsuo told him to do, or even hinted towards. Using money left by his parents and money he worked for, Soubi began attending art college. He began to call himself Soubi to escape his previous life. At first it began as a name, but as a fellow student, Shinro, began to talk to him more and more, Hiro began to fabricate more of Soubi's life. Shinro was concerned about certain aspects of Hiro's behavior and signs of self harm. He attempted to push Hiro into therapy. When Ritsuo split up with Hiro, he had a mental breakdown, believing himself to be Soubi and that Ritsuo had died, that pain being easier to live with somehow. Hiro was soon after admitted to Landel's.

Medical History:
Reports of physical abuse, though there were no doctors reports, there is only rumour that Hiro was injured a lot as a child. Matsumoto Ryu (guardian) very cooperative and allowed Hiro to be tested for various ailments that could lead to clumsiness. Refused any tests for sexual abuse, afraid it could harm the boy's already fragile mental state, due to the loss of his parents. All tests came out clear.

Admitted overnight to hospital after carving 'beloved' into his own neck.

Signs of depression, self harm and compulsive lying upon entering college. Again, no doctors reports available, only rumour.

Admittance to Landel's Institute.

Current Status: Experimental Treatment - Success undetermined - results so far have been negative but minor: Hiro has sunk lower into depression, believes the scar on his neck has changed.

Hiro has become attached to a young boy by the name of Jordan Becker. Nurses have observed that Hiro appears submissive at times to the boy. While it appears Hiro would not intentionally harm the child, there are concerns that the relationship could be unsavory. Staff are attempting to slowly pull the two apart without provoking an unwanted reaction.

Other patients Hiro appears to have bonded with are Ryan O'Donohue, Sara Davis and Dennis Mitchell. This is an encouraging development from a man who has often been alone and it is hoped he will 'come into himself' through these friendships.

Injuries include scratched to his neck, self inflicted, and other injuries believed to be caused by distressed behavior.

Hiro has been visited by his Guardian who is discussing the possibility of taking him home upon improvements. Hiro showed expected signs of distress, but a positive response to the offer of returning home. His depression worsened after the visit, but staff are making attempts to use the offer as motivation.
