I was wondering around Waldenbooks the other day when I came across a strange looking book. It was a black notebook with a brown spine. On the cover the tital of the book was "WRECK THIS JOURNAL" by Keri Smith. With a tile like that I had to flip through it. I picked up the strange journal and started to flip through it. Inside each page had different instructions for you to follow to wreck the journal. As you can tell I took on the project of destroying the journal.
I started the day I got the book. I tosed the book on the floor and kicked it around a bit. Than I started to crack the spine, doodling on every page and as I got ideas I fliped to the back of the book I saw a page that said "Write a list of more ways to wreck this journal." and it listed numbers 1 - 12. So far I have 10 ideas listed. The most fun I think I have had so far was when I followed the " tie a string to the journal. Go for a walk, drag it." I used a pice of lime green duct tape and taped a long pice of string to a page and took the book for a walk...laughing all the way. How often do you take a book for a walk?
I am still working on the book. I think it will be an on going project. Its just to much fun to stop. From child hood we are told to be careful with books, don't miss treat them. With this book you can do whatever you want with out being scolded.
Pictures will be posted documenting my progress.
