New Orleans Clean up Feb.2007

Feb 26, 2007 11:28

I got back last night from New Orleans. I was with my church group cleaning up and doing repairers on some houses that were destroyed by Katrina. There is still lots of work needed to be done down there. Lots of FEMA trailers in front yards. One of the people we helped told me that she got a notice that all FEMA trailers had to be off the lawn by April.

I loved New Orleans. I had lots of fun, even doing hard work.

I did get to do a little site seeing after work. Here are some of the pictures I took.
