It's Ko's turn! Yay! Wrote this on paper first...and that's also a first for this. Wow.
Kobayashi Kohana's 20 Truths
1. When Kohana learned the meaning of her last name - small forest - she didn't know what a forest was and couldn't imagine that they were real.
2. When she was younger, as long as it was her mother making the food Kohana would eat anything and everything. If it was anyone else, she would find something wrong with the dish. Even her beloved father had to fight to persuade her otherwise.
3. Kohana was glad for the birth of Ichigo. Though it was heartbreaking to slowly lose her mother's attention.
4. When Kohana first saw a genjutsu that her mother used to tortue enemy-nin - albeit a shortened version - she came out of it grinning from ear to ear and begging to learn how to do it.
5. Kohana has wanted to become a torture specialist ever since.
6. She still can't understand why her father is horrified at this idea.
7. Kohana has been known to simply sit and watch a cut bleed; the thought of worrying and getting it bandaged doesn't occur to her.
8. She's only cried a handful of times in her life, the rest of the time she's too busy grinning. She will be an optimist until the end.
9. The desire to please her mother - and consequently all women - is so strong that Kohana will do anything and everything. Reason and restrain means nothing in such situations.
10. Her father hadn't been prone to worrying - until he saw Kohana deliberately hurt herself because of a few idle words from her mother.
11. The first time Kohana cut her own hair, her mother and father were upset. The second time her father was upset.
12. It took her demonstrating how well her haircut worked with her hiding in the sand to keep her father from fixing it again.
13. The idea of being scared of Chiyo-sensei hasn't occurred to Kohana - that's probably for the best.
14. Kohana's worst fear is disappointing her mother, and now Chiyo-sensei, too.
15. Kohana thinks Suki-chan is really quite nice and is very smart. She just wonders why she's so quiet.
16. Kohana thinks Shoryuu-kun is really fast and strong, he just needs to cheer up a little.
17. Kohana's biggest goal - besides becoming a genjutsu specialist, regaining her mother's attention, and impressing Chiyo-sensei - is to soften up Shoryuu-kun.
18. And she wants to help Suki-chan talk more.
19. Kohana isn't sure if she'd be overjoyed or terrified by a lake. An oasis is one thing, but a lake?
20. Kohana thinks Shoryuu-kun looks really quite adorable when he scowls - but she's pretty sure he doesn't want know that.
And since I forgot to e-mail Jlee back about the drabble she wrote with Shinaro and Momo...*clears throat*
THANK YOU! That was insanely awesome! Oh man, oh man...seems like I've built up Momo really well so people can make him come out so true to life...or well, maybe you're just an awesome writer. *grins* Or both!
And so...I um...now enjoy the last three days at home. *whimpers* Then it's back to the frozen wasteland that is Utah...
