For the official record: There is no Wal*Mart on 5th East in American Fork. Really, I don't care what Google Maps says. It's not there.
Ahem. Anyway, I might as well explain that comment. See, today I got asked to run an errand. Simple enough. Except that I didn't look close enough at the thing on Google Maps and ended up going up and down 5th East several times. Thankfully it dead-ends eventually. ...unfortunately, it's still a long way from end to end. I called Brazil to see if he knew where it was and he didn't, plus he was out to lunch with Ben. So, I called my boss and got her cell phone's answering machine. Which was full. Yay. So, I wandered a bit more on 5th and then called Brazil again. He was only dropping Ben off, so I went to the Taco Bell on 5th to get lunch, since I hadn't gotten that yet. And it was, oh, almost two. He got home pretty soon after that and called me while at Taco Bell. Found out that there isn't one on 5th. And that the closest one is in Lehi - a few miles down the freeway. I knew exactly where that one was - it was right next to the house I had stayed in with Ken and Jen. So...I just took a really long time to get the errand done. And I got some food to keep at my cubicle so I don't starve in the future.
And now they're filming whatever it was I got the digital tape for.
Other commentaries about the day:
-It's much harder to get up when your spouse doesn't have to get up, too. ...and yet he's the one poking me to get up. Grar.
-Wal*Mart's organization still confuses me. I had to ask for help to find the digital tape. Which was, of course, with the photography section.
-Don't trust a non-native English speaker at Carl's Jr. to get your order right. They usually don't screw up my order, but I got fries for the first time in a while. And while I got the fries I didn't get my sauce (which they insist on calling "house" instead of "ranch") and I think I got charged for a meal, even though I had said not to. How else would a milk shake, 3 pieces of chicken and medium fries come out to over $8? I should've asked how it came out to that much, or at least checked my take out bag. Alas, lunch was not as happy as I would've hoped.
-One particular kind of red wrapping paper from Sears is see-through with certain gifts. Be aware of this before you tape one layer and then have to do a subsequent layer after that. ...it's cool to wrap presents twice, right? And put a piece of paper over the present's "title"? Right.
-Ice cream makes lots of things better. Frazzled nerves and hunger are two of many problems solved by this. Thank you Ben and Jerry's.

wolfziri inspired me to finally change my journal's theme.
And that is all.
