Back and Back

I got home from Europe on Wednesday 19 August at 5p U.S. time, 11p France time. I was over-exhausted from the 16 hours of traveling, but stayed up another 5 hours in order to wake up the next morning and feel adjusted. it worked! and i spent the next four days, in between getting back and starting school, organizing my life and making good food with Pat. I need some money to organize pictures properly, and unfortunately no proper job has come to fruition yet.

School started Monday 24 August...every week I've had (and will have) a four day weekend, this one was five days bc of Labor Day, so without any work yet, I feel borred. I'm only in three classes currently: 'systems' project class, multi-media, and aesthetics; later I drop aesthetics and pick up cultural policy, exhibitions, and facilities. Not much out-of-class work yet either, so I feel lazy. It's amazing that I can feel this UN-busy when last year was hell because it was too busy...

My parents visited this weekend and it was a lot of fun, especially since I hadn't seen my dad since Easter! Pat and I hand-made corn pasta with a cilantro pesto sauce for our Saturday lunch, then we went out to Church Brew Works for dinner after looking at half of my European summer pictures. Sunday Pat made us bacon and eggs before we walked around the Strip District, drove around Hamnett Place (the area of focus for my systems project), and looked at the rest of my pictures and theirs.

I go home to Rocky River 17-20 September and probably 23-26 October for weddings.
