- The fact that a group of scientists from the University of North Carolina started a study in 2014.
They have implanted not dangerous for humans Coronavirus - surface protein SHC014 from Chinese bat in already known human SARS virus. As a result, after a year of hard work, they successfully synthesized brand new hybrid "in vitro and in vivo", suitable for the human epidemic.
In the same year, the US government hastily introduced a moratorium on all experiments with human pathogenic infections in the same year.
