Friend's dad died yesterday in a car crash, and I got the news today. I didn't know what to say to my friend. I ended up avoiding talking to him in fear of not knowing what to say. Eventually I did send him a message with my condolences and an apology for not being able to say more. I still feel guilty about avoiding this though.
