Danni, I assume you were talking about me in the Random Thoughts thread. If not, oh well I am bad with replying to PM's so right now is as good time as any I guess. I did however move on the 6th of July and had finals that same week and went on vacation the week after that, so I guess I just forgot about your PM. Anyway, Danni I don't know what I can tell you. I have been very honest with you. I don't go up to random people and tell them they are niggers, spics, chinks, white trash, crackers, or whatever else. But I will admit around my friends I use language like that and I have the balls to admit that. I have had some horrifying experiences with black people in general, so maybe thats why I feel the way I do towards some black people. Having said that, I dont hate black people and believe it or not I find black people as a whole are be funner to be around and I feel more comfortable around blacks because as a whole they are more laid back like I am. In gym class I was always that one white guy who played on the middle court with all the black guys. I just happened to be tall, so I was always good at basketball. I dont know why I am bringing this up but I am just trying to let you know I dont hate black people and actually get along with just about anyone, no matter the race. Yes I do say nigger from time to time, but its not like I go around saying it whenever and wherever I please. I hear black people saying it all the time, so to me why can't I, because I am white. Hell no that ain't right. Why are you so offended by the word anyway, when I hear the word or phrase white trash I dont get all bent out of shape. I just don't get why black people can use the word in rap songs or say it in slang in every other sentence but if I a white person say it I get the look of death. I am sorry Danni but thats a double standard. I don't get bent out of shape when I hear white trsh, so whats the difference. I really want to know your response to that because you speak well and I bet you could give me a decent well thought out reason. But I still think thats a huge double standard in this country.
The whole Rutgers ordeal was so blown out of porportion it was sickening to watch unfold. I agree it was way out of line to call the Rutger women's team ho's, but they are nappy headed. When girls play sports their hair is going to be nappy, so what was the big deal of Dan Imus saying nappy. Please correct if I am wrong, but I never once heard Imus mention the color of their skin. A white girl starts for Rutgers, so when Imus said nappy headed ho's why did most black people become offended by that. Why was it about color, or maybe Imus said something about the color of their skin and I missed that, but if he didnt mention color it sure as hell became about color real fast. I am a huge sports fan and watch women's ball religiously and have commented on how ugly, manish and nappy some of the players look but I don't ever say anything about them being black or white. Thats my issue with the whole Imus ordeal. Some things shouldnt be about color and I am more than fed up with the fact people cant get over people being a different color than them. If you talk to Lee(Na Vell) or some other black people from SON, SB, or DR you would know I treat everyone with the same respect, unless I just dont like that particular person, but its never because of me knowing they are black thats for damn sure.
Oh a prime example I have always wanted to ask someone. Why is Tiger Woods only called black, when he is clearly half Asian as well. Its like the Asian part of him is totally ignored. Yes he is black, but he is also Asian. But 100% of the time Tiger is referred to as the first black golfer to do so and so. Why is his Asian heriatge ignored. To me it seems if someone has an ounce of black in them they are automatically black end of story. Why is that? I don't think Tiger's black side should be ignored, but it would be nice to hear about his Asian side as well. There is also a race car driver in Indy who is half and half but he is getting fame for being the first black guy to win an Indy race. Its like the other half of him is being ignored yet again. Its hard to say what others should say or how they would say this mixed guy won this. Don't get me wrong its great to see a black guy in golf or Indy win like that and the black side should definitely be mentioned, but the other side is simply ignored. Why is that? Just an FYI, I root for Tiger to win every Sunday. I am telling you if you spent time with me you would know I wasn't racist. You know I should copy my high school yearbook and just show you how many people stated how I was one the nicest guy's they knew and guess what some of them were black. Of course they didnt know I said nigger away from them one because I would never say that around black people I like, how wrong would that be? And two there is a HUGE difference in a nigger and a black peson. To me white trash and nigger basically mean the same thing, a worthless piece of crap and every race has them, even whites. I am just trying to let you know how I am and wish you could realize I am not racist whatsoever. And its not just because I voted for Harold Ford and would vote for Obama over Hilary I just have a very loose mouth when it comes to speaking. But I know when to shut my trap as well. I am not sure what else to say but regardless of what you say you have never met me and if you think I am racist than you might need your head examined.
One last question. If you were calling me out in the random thoughts thread why couldn't you have tried a 2nd PM. Instead you try and air this out in the forums, I know you are better than that.
