4 Wisdom Teethies Out = Sore

Feb 20, 2008 15:40

So I finally did it. I finally got my wisdom teethies out. All four of them. Couldn't have happened at a better time, because the problem one was starting to get infected again. Ahhh feels so good to have it gone. I think. I'm still EXTREMELY numb. I am dribbling half-blood-half-saliva everywhere. They said "You're not bleeding, you're just stained". Oh lovely. So lovely. I can taste blood, and I can't drink without water running down my chin.

Charlie is sitting in his high chair having a jolly old whinge at me, because he wants me to talk, and I.....well, I can't talk that well, and talking hurts. So I'm grunting at him occassionally. He was SO happy to see me when Matt collected him from my Oma's house. I love being Mum. Best job ever.
It really is lovely to have someone THAT happy to see you. Doesn't happen to me much I can tell you that!!!

Struck up a conversation with the lady in the bed next to me. We could both barely speak, but I managed to find out that she had 6 children. SIX!!!! She said "oh you'll have another one", but I really don't think I will. It hurts people. And yeah, you remember that it hurt, contrary to popular belief.

Being a bit affected by the Anaesthetic and many drugs I was put on still, I don't remember what I said to Matt in the carpark, but I assure you that it was hilarious.
Then again. I guess it could have been the drugs.

Charlie is chomping down his dinner that I just made, but Matt has to feed him, because I tried and failed miserably to blow on the food to cool it down, and I couldn't even test it because I can't feel a thing!!!! ARRR. I don't like this balloon head business.
