I think I'd probably make the same ruling that the judge did. The question is not about whether ID is a good idea or not, the question is: Did the board break the law or behave unethically? That's the judge's job - not to say what he thinks would be nice... but to say what does law and precedence say.

I think most people when objectively analyzing the situation would affirm that the board did some things the wrong way - an illegal way. I don't know the whole situation, but based on that article and a few others... it sounds like the board was operating under an agenda and was repackaging creationism and did lie about what they had done. If you're going to make a stance about a biology subject matter... make it straight-on, don't dance around the issue and make pet-names for a previously ruled-against concept... fight to change the ruling - if so desired. Just my .02.

I would be a little upset too, but not with the judge or the ACLU or what-have-you; but with spineless believers who go through the back door and then lie about it or back-pedal.

Well,

I think I'm more upset at all the times reverse discrimination happens more and more. If I had gotten a group of parents to write the board or seek to discuss how Evolution shouldn't be taught in public school we would be branded as extremly bias, right-wing, fanatical Religious people who hate on all things that lead to progession, but for parent's to complain about Inteligent Design or even Creationism is fair and justified in finding all the facts.

I guess some people would find it highly ironic that it use to be people who were White, Christian, and Male would discriminate against people who were ethnic, liberal, or female but now it is almost always the opposite.

If you are fighting for the right of the liberal, ethnic, or female or whatever isn't Christian, White, (uptight) and Male you will find a media outlet ready and willing to champion your cause. But if you are fighting for the Christian Cause, or White People's Rights the Media will see you as bigoted and you will likely be seen as uneducated and with a "wrong" motive.

It doesn't matter if Evolution is an idioltic theory with no evidence or that a teacher can get away with being extremly Pro-Evolution and denouncing Creationism Publically in the Classroom.
It doesn't matter that anti-Christmas Parents can change it to a Winter Party or that the Gay agenda is now on the Big screen with a Gay Comboy Movie.
It doesn't matter if the political motives behind each is clearly anti-christian values.

What does matter is that America is becoming a much easier place for you to be Muslim than it is to be one of the bigoted Christian, and Christians need to be okay with that because it can get much worse.
