Summary: Warren and Theodore muse on the re-shift in power and their lot in what doesn't seem to be much of a life
It had gotten just a bit crazy at the Polyhex in the past few days, what with the triumphant return of Michal (who was reluctant to discuss just why he'd left them for so long with nobody but Chris to take over), and then Cael's big brother kicking up a shitstorm. Even for Warren, there was a time when enough was enough.
Not like anyone would particularly miss him for a few hours anyway.
He sat atop the building, dangling his legs off the side of the observatory casually. Just for fun, he'd chucked a baseball through one of the top windows of the place, just to fuck with people's heads as to how a kid knocked one out of the park that high up. And also knicked some coffee mug sitting around on supposedly an astronomer's desk. It felt nice, way up in the mountains, closer to the sky, closer to wide open spaces.
In his hands he twirled a lighter expertly between his fingers. He didn't remember who he'd stolen it from--and for a moment really hoped it wasn't Michal--but whoever it was either didn't miss it yet or did't care. He would absent-mindedly flip it open and shut and toss it into his other hand and practice little sleights of hand, not paying much attention. He knew how to do it all.
The town was far below. Olympus was nearby. He wondered if the Autobots were having as much fun as he always thought he'd have with the Decepticons. It didn't seem fair to him.
