I only translated this much today. 10 more sheets to go :)

[Please Choose] by Komatsu Sakyou

It has the structure of a quaint tool store.

He has made up his mind to be in the shop. He called out to a man who looks like the owner.

“Am I able to choose...?”

“Yeah...” the old man jerked his chin, signaling the direction.

“The end of that door. It’s on the opposite side. But if you move forward, the corridor leads to a straight rout. Please watch your step.”

Could this be a trick..., he thought. But what if really...
At the end of the corridor, another door appeared. When he knocked, the door of the next room opened and a glassy-eyed man beckoned to him.

“Come in...sit down, please. May I know, on whose introduction...?” asked the short man with a vacant look on his face.

When he said the name of the stranger whom he met at the bar, the short man nodded listlessly.

“I see...understood. If it’s him, he’s one person who can be trusted. By the way, um...have you got the fee ready?”

“I’ve brought them. 25,000 credit...was it right?”

“Well then…to what extent do you wish to find out?”

“I guess anything could be it, such as able to choose the future...”

“Is that it?”

“Well...”

“...All right then, since explaining is impossible, I shall go figuratively. You, our life history, the thing known as reality, there is not only one. Even to the past and future, countless of them ran in parallel, and branched out. There’re a bunch of possibilities happening. Are you aware of this?”

“No...I don’t know,” the unsure voice replied. “But, I’ve heard that kind of talk before.”

“If the transmission becomes strong, you can increase the channels as many as possible but….our time device only has 3 channels. Among the 3 types, you can choose a favorite future and you’ll be sent into this channel. Then, thereafter you lead just 1 future; you and the history of the entire world surrounding you moves on”

“So, this means, from this room opens 3 routes to the future.”

“Exactly what it is...from the right, Course Number 1, 2, 3. Well then, here’s No. 1.”
