PR, pineapple tarts and NLB lifts
(1) It was the first time I went to a Launch event, so PR! Well it's part of my job but the only PR-ing I did was take lots of photos and tried to chat up with one of my ex-colleagues who's now in Estee Laude. The cosmetic gaint organised it as part of their global CSR efforts to support awareness of Breast Cancer. The minister was there, even well-known faces Dong Fang Billy and Koh Cheng Mum. Cocktail was fabulous and the ambiance @ the Arts House was perfect for such an occasion (When I first saw the building, the first thing that came to my mind was "What a glorious place for victorian lolita photoshoot!" XXXDDD). The only thing is I was in my t-shirt, jeans and sports shoes from the Pink Ribbon walk earlier in the day. =_= Sweaty bodies, sticky arms. Urgh.
(2) Time off on a working day sure is gratifying. :DDD
$19.90! I love to find shops that offer a bargain for good quality(-looking) clothes. :p
I'm a sucker for contests and quizzes. :3 I won a set of NLB coasters and $20 Kinokuniya vouchers. :D so gonna spend them on Mihara sensei's goth manga. ^-^ was looking forward to NLB's lift experience when I went to collect my prize. 14th to 1st floor in a nifty. Like free falling! But someone had to stop the lift at 7th. D:
I bought the wrong snack >_<...thought it was snack bars to feed my hunger pangs @ work. And then I realised these are expiring next month's 20th. D: Luckily I still have my 'Sensible Food'
My chiropractor came back from Taiwan and bought me pineapple tarts today (Yesterday I was comtemplating whether to message and remind him to bring it XD I afraid he forgets). These are totally hand-made and I'm blown away by the beautiful packaging. Though I haven't try them yet, he said because they are hand-made these are less sweet and use real pineapples than pineapple concentrate juice for flavouring.
Just by that, jakura please buy these when you are in Taiwan! Osusume desu!!!
My aunt also went to Taiwan recently and my family received a box from her. Or rather, I received the box and my parents ate the contents T_____T~ I didn't even see how the pineapple tarts look like and they were GONE!!! This time, this box of tarts is MINE. :D Lala~

I love my blanket. :3
It's touted as a summer blanket but it's quite thick, not your airy cooling type. I really wonder why the Japanese salesperson call it summer blanket since it doesn't function as it should be!
