Yeah, more drabbles from you! Now I have to go back and see what I have done with the prompt... ;)

As always, I am amazed at your skill - it seems you, as our good doctor, tend to hide your light under a bushel, eh? Really, your choice of words balances each of your works on the very fine edge between a poem and a story, which is wonderful - it's like getting the best of both! :D

Plus, it is very nice to get more of your Holmes! I like that he mostly observes here, without deducing too much - it suggest to me that he was preoccupied with his failing to notice Watson's grief - no idea whether you had intended it ;)

At any rate, I have only discovered one sentence where your Holmes sounds more like Watson, but then again, this line is so purely Holmes:
The older - and considerably taller - had his left hand on the other boy's right shoulder, as if to steady him. I could indeed notice how the younger's wide eyes were shining with something akin to suspicion in front of the camera, the very single shadow of abnormality in his behaviour ( ... )

I'm truly flattered by your kind words of encouragement - they really are important to an amateur writer as I am. *__*

The fact that Holmes mostly observes - I intended it mostly as an expression of his need to explore the one side of the event that he failed to notice, and, as you keenly suggested, that he was quite preoccupied by his failure.

Actually, I am attempting a Holmes point-of-view as I desperately need to practice it (and my dear beta reader would completely agree with this last sentence).
So, I am particularly grateful to you, a Holmes expert, for your advice and approval. Thank you again, and I'm fairly burning with curiosity to read your developement of the prompt!

As for the orals, er - *clears throat* Let's say they partly went well. As for your finals, if I may ask?

Oh, now I really have to look for it, eh? :D I'll get right at it... but I am fairly certain that I have not chosen the Watson brothers...

Ah - I have found it... Haven't even typed it yet! ;) And, surprise, surprise, I chose Watson's POV! :D I will type it now and probably manage to post it today...
Are you watching the soccer worldcup, btw? I'm not really a soccer fan, but I noticed Italy is playing at the moment. ;)

As for my finals, I was pleasantly surprised in German (best possible result) and in English (again, best possible), Math was good as I expected (12 of 15 possible grade points) and Spanish as well (12 of 15)... Had a better feeling for Spanish, but well... I'm not complaining. If I do really well in my orals, I even get a better average grade than I expected... - which is great! :D

Running to read it right now, y'know - *is curious and happy*

And, yes, there was Italy playing soccer yesterday evening, but I will confess I'm not very interested in sport, and I wasn't watching it - d'you know who won, by the way?
*is chased by horde of italian soccer fanatics* Heeeey!

Congratulations for your finals, it seems you did really well, my truest congratulations! Wishing and hoping the best for your orals :D *___*
