Things you don't see every day...
The heaving cauldron of hot sex that was our fishpond is now full of frogspawn. Seems that the frogs are quite protective of their young, too. I went to have a look in the pond earlier and noticed that one of the fish must have swum too close to the frogspawn, because one of the frogs was holding it in the froggy equivalent of a bearhug - either that or the frog had decided to jump anything that came within it's reach :-) I called bellinghman out to have a look, and he used the net we keep handy to fish the pair out of the pond, pry the frog off the fish and return them separately to the water.
