What's going on with Mark?

Unpleasant as this may sound, it may be the end of the road for Mark as a major league player. There is just too much talent out there, and Mark only managed to hit .190 by the end of the season. It seems that less than .250 is considered mediocre. If he goes back to the minors, he may never be heard from again. One possibility that has crossed my mind is that he may be picked up during the season by a team with a major injury to an infielder. Not that we should hope for this, but that may be his only shot. We know that he does not do well as a PH and he needs to play every day to be any good. But that is really unlikely to happen, even if he is signed. It just might be time for him to get on with his life. But hey, how many major league players hit game winning home runs in the World Series? Not many. And that is something he can tell his grandchildren about.
