A Long Deserved Break
...from the insanity. Today relientk8 and I finished Akumu-chan as we ate Godiva chocolate and drank some Pinot Noir. I had given myself the gift of watching the finale (unsubbed) last night, as well as the first seven eps of Code Geass. I promise, no spoilers but holy crap!!! You need to watch it on CR as soon as it's available!!! No ifs ands or buts! D'yahhh! (ok, freak out: over.)
Anyway, I have also worked on Journey Along The Third Path today and now will settle back on the couch with another glass of wine for more Code Geass (which I am LOVING, btw). The only things requiring effort that I did today were dishes and dinner. Tomorrow will be fairly leisurely before the weekend which consists of a wedding, a karaoke show, one more bit of video shoot and some visits to family & friends, before the New Years craziness kicks in, followed by the old grind. Even my vacation is not really vacation. Sigh. S'ok. I was hoping to get more done in the way of reading/writing. We'll see. I got the first 3 Death Note mangas for Christmas from Jon. Yep. My hubby, who is a coppersmith, made a full size violin replica out of copper (and some brass) for me. Amazing. Yay metal sculpture art! I cried for seriously 20 minutes, I was so overwhelmed by it.
