That I have the awesomest husband? hehehe. He knew what a week I've had and he went about his day out with his brother and let me just lay in bed all day and watch movies.  I can't remember the last time I did that.  In and out of sleep. Here it is, nearly 8:30pm, I am drinking coffee to be functional at my karaoke show tonight.  This is night #10

You better believe it! I will indeed start Journey Down the Third Path (still working the title...not 100% yet...gotta get the wording JUST right) after Europe...which is oddly coincidental, as I had started MiM in November as well LAST year. Speaking of which, I actually got another page or so done this afternoon, but I have some dishes and weed-whacking to do before teaching. I love when Hei gets pensive. He's so freakin' heady. I love writing it. *sigh*

Awesome! Yeah, I love the dark, gritty start, then it lightens up but keeps this quirky odd feel. Janis's lyrics are so powerful. Then that trippy breakdown into one of my fave guitar solos on the album.

You can hear an accidental distorted recording of my voice through the pickup of my violin at the very beginning of the break down (2:58) we were discussing something about the take...and we didn't even realize it was there until we listened through the whole thing at the end of the session. We thought it sounded randomly cool and left it. haha!
