In today's episode of bitching by Tracee...
...first of all...U of O can suck it! I mean I know they hate our class because we are a bunch of whiners who think we should get special treatment because we are such as small class...but c'mon, we SHOULD get special treatment because we are such a small class! It was the school's choice to put 24 of us together for the whole 2.5 years, so we expect a little extra attention. Plus when we started they pumped us up so much by saying how special we were, and how lucky we were to be in a small class, and now they are mad at us for asking for a little extra consideration.
So here's why I am pissed. We asked the profs to see if we could request the begining of the exam period because we are small and can fit in any room, and because there is no point in sitting around here when we could be out working or whatever. Plus we have quite a few out of towners who don't want to stay around Ottawa waiting, and paying more rent. So the result of our request...We finish class April 4th and don't write our exams until April 27,28,29. Yep and all three in a row. They are worth 50, 45, 35% so basically almost 1/2 of my semester will be written in 3 days. Let's hope I am not tired for that third one! I would have to get everyone to sign a petition and get the teachers and the fauclty to agree to change them, and I doubt they will change all 3, so either way it looks like I am not going anywhere until they are done. And if we don't change it then Niki said she will just head to Edmonton for the 3 weeks, which means our NYC trip would get screwed. Boo.....I will have to think of somewhere else to go. I wonder how much Australia is in April??
Other news....got my new tattoo! I waited a whole 6 months since my first one. But when I got my first one I walked out of their with an idea for the second (something with my awesome TLC initials), but this time I have no more ideas, so I should be good for a while. I love it though. It's a broken heart with a bandaid and my TLC on a banner at the bottom. Sounds cheesey, but Eric did a great job. I highly recommend Eric at Silverline if anyone needs work done!
I am off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday...with a midterm on Monday. I was tempted to take today off as a sick day, but decided to save it for when I really need it. Instead I got up super early, dropped Ro at the gym, and then hit my gym before work. YAY!! Going to have to do that a bit more often!
Ok order is here now for work...better get working on it. Oh yeah, Who's up for some Tila this weekend?? I've never been and I'm not very excited, but it's Amanda's going away party, so I gotta go.
Oh yeah and Sens vs Canucks tonight, I'm excited. They aren't amazing seats, but I still like going.
