Summary: After the incident from the 5th lab, Ed is hearing a voice on his head as a new personality comes out from him.
The mark of Pride

A/n: this story takes after the incident at the 5th Lab, and also, we're going to see in this story Ed turning Pride in a different way from the BBI series. Well, I hope you like it.
Ed was deep asleep on his hospital bed, then started to struggle under his covers. Hisforehead was sweating. He was merely struggling but then started to thrash about in hissleep.
"No… No! Al! " the blond boy screamed
*dream scene*
Ed was back to that transmutation room from the 5th Lab, in the mid of room Al was lying emotionless in the group, or at least what rested of him.
"AL!!" Screamed Ed.
Ed ran to where al was, He tried to 'wake' him up. but Al didn't move, or didn't make any kind of sound. Ed gasped in pure horror when he saw Al's blood seal gone.
"Al, why?" whispered Ed as he stared to try over the dead armor. " I don't want be alone!"
Suddenly, the alchemist listened and heard a sinister, male voice as a hand touched his left shoulder.
"You're not alone Edward. I will be always here with you."
Ed heard hisown voice yet it had a more older and mature tone to it. When he turned around, Ed gasped in surprised. It was himself, a little more taller, with purple eyes,wearing clothe similar to Envy's and a pair of purple eyes. What most shocked Ed, that person who looks like him had red blood marks on his body and a orouburos mark on his left shoulder.
"Even everyone you know were gone, I will be always with you."
"W-who are you?" asked Edward, very scared to his 'clone'.
"I am your Pride." then, He kissed him on the lips as everything went dark

Ed immediately sits up from his bed and awakens herself from the nightmare. He touched his lips.It was a dream? To Ed, the dream looked very real to him, he could still feel the stranger's kiss.
"It was just a dream…"
"Ed! Are you okay?!" Alphonse asked with concern.
Ed was reliefed when he saw Al in the conner of his hospital room. He was still in that mess state, but at least still alive. Ed lied again on the bad as he looked at the windown.
"It was just a nightmare Al. Don't worry about me."

After Winry arrived at the hospital and fixed Ed's automail arm. Then, the time to fix Alphonse's body had come. However, after fixing his body, Al had his own doubts about if he was the real Alphonse Elric of just a thing created by own Edward. The two brothers had a ugly fight.
"LET ME GO!!"
Al pushed Ed away from him. Winry couldn't do nothing, exept wachting the argument. Ed just looked at his young brother. Al jumped away from the hospital biulding
Ed tried to follow him, but Winry stopped him. Then, he heard the same voice from his dream in his head.
"How could he dare to hurt you?!"
Ed hugged his head as he kneed. Winry was on his side, worried about Ed.
"Ed what's wrong? Talk to me!"
But Ed didn't seen to listen his friend's voice, He was still hugging his head like he was heaving a strong headache.
"W-who are you?" then, Ed collapsed.

a/n: This is the part where Ed and Al face those mercenaries to rescue Rick. But I am lazy and I don't want to re-writte the whole episode 24 -_-;;.
Anyway, lets back to the fic. Here is Pride's awaking.
Ps: I know my fight scenes sukcs. -_-;;

Before those mercenaries could shout at them, Ed used his alchemy to make a wall to protect him and Al as Winry took the Ishbar children with her while Scar faces the leader.
"Al, I have to ask you a question. I never asked this because I was too scary. Do you hate me? It was because of me you're like this."
Al didn't expected that question. Tht was the reason Ed didn't say anything while he was at Rizepool because he was afraid that Al would hate him. If he had a human face, Al would smile softly at him.
"No, I don't hate you, brother."
Ed felt his heart becoming very light after he heard Al's words. Ed went over to face the leader while Al faces Barry with Scar's help. Scar took care of Barry easaly.
"I will be not defeated by a short guy like you!!" shouted the leader of Mercenaries."
The leader of the mercenaries active his device and blasted an eletric attack on Ed. Ed didn't have the time to adcive his alchemy as the blast hit him. Al, Winry, Rick, Leo and Scar gasped in horror.
NO!!BROTHER!!!!" shouted Ed in panic.
The leader of Mercenaries laughted victorious. But soon his lauhgting died as something was she saw a shadow in smoke as a red light blinded them all. As the red light died, they all Ed was alright, no burns or wounds from the blast, only his shirt and coat was gone. But something was different on him. He had red blood marks on his body and his braid was undone because of the explotion. as Al and Scar gasped in surprised when he saw the oroburos tattoo on his shoulder.
"B-brother?"
"What the hell is going on here? You should be in pieces!!" shouted the mercenarie.
"Shut up you ugly bastard." said Ed, but his voice was different. It was more deeper and violent.
Ed opened his eyes as he glared at the mercenarie leader, his eyes weren't golden anymore. His eyes were colder purple. Ed looked at himself like he was checking if he had any wounds.
"That was a close one. If I was one second late, Ed would be gone."
Winry and Scar realized that Ed sounded like he was being possesed by something. Then, Ed glared at the Mercenaries trapped in a cage. Ed extended his hand in front of cage.
"goodbye" said Ed as he closed his hand.
Sundelly, the cage was being crushed by some invisible force. The mercenaries were crying in pain as the bars were crushing their bones before their broken ribs stabed their lugs. Ed turned to the leader.
"H-how y-you.."
The leader of mercenaries tried to use his device, but Ed waved his hand again as a invisible force remove the device from his back. The leader looked very scared and he had the reason to be when he saw Ed smirking at him.
"Your life end here." Said Ed as his glowed.
The leader cried out in pain as his body exploded within and out, just like Scar do with his victmis.
"Brother?" Al wouldn't admit but he was scaried. He never saw Ed being so cold. He tried to kill those prisioners when to make the philosopher stone but he couldn't do it. Something wasn't right. That wasn't Ed he knew. Al tried to to to approach to his brother. Winry tired to call him back but it was in vain.
"Brother? Are you ok? Talk to me, please"
When Alphonse tried to reach on Edward, Ed's eys glowed as Al was pushed away by an ivisible force.
"Don't get near of him! You have no right to touch Ed after you hurt him!" Ed shouted at them,
Now they were confused, Scar realized that Ed was really possosed by something.
"You're not Edward Elric. Who are you?" asked Scar,
Ed just looked at Scar with a cold glare before he answer his question.
"I am Pride. I was born after Edward had absorbed those red water form the 5th lab. I have to thank you, Scar. If you haven't destroyed the glass, Edward wouldn't never had absorbed the red water." The sin said to them. "From now on I will take care of him from now on."
"What do you mean by that?!" shouted Winry
"I will take him away from people who hurts him, Without you around, Edward will be more happy without you around."
Alphose tried to stop him but Pride had vanished in the air. He couldn't believe it. First he had lost his mother, now he had just loosed his brother.
Then he let out one heartfelt scream for the whole metropolis to hear.
"BROTHER!!!!
Far away from there, near of a clif. Pride was looking the view of the city in there, while he was caring Edward's spirit form in his arms. Pride looked at Edward with some soft eyes.
"Don't wory Edward. I will not let no one hurt you ever again."
Pride's lips touched Ed's. Even being in the same body, Pride swore to himself he would find a way to have his own body, so he would finally touch Edward, hugging him and being only with him.
