Forget regret, or life is yours to miss...

Okay, so I've gotten random questions on why I want to get a tattoo.

You know, I really don't know what inspired me to do it. I know it's been at the back of my mind for some years now, and now that I've changed ("for the better...") since I've been here, I'm less scared about it. Or at least less scared to get one.

When I was little, I always had a fascination with the fake tattoos, and wished they lasted longer. I loved all of the designs I could put on my body without getting in trouble. Now, I want to do it for real.

Like I said, I need to have a small one, and it has to be in a spot where it can be covered easily because of dance and such. I'm thinking a simple celtic knot or celtic sun on the front of my right hip. Something without a lot of colors and simple because I hate needles so much. Maybe my thinking is that if I can get through a tattoo, I'll be less scared of needles.

I don't think I'll regret the celtic designs, because it's a part of my heritage. If my children ask about it, I'll say that I love my Celtic heritage so much, I wanted to show it to the world. Which is true. I won't be getting one for a while because of lack of funds, but once I get the money, I'm getting my tattoo.
