you're gonna hate yourself in the morning

This is for all you Catholics out there.

papabile (pa-PA-bi-lay), also papable adjective

Eligible or suitable to become a pope; fitted for high office.

[From Italian papabile (worthy to be pope), from papa (pope) +
-bile, equivalent to -ble (able).]

Papabile can be used literally about those cardinals in the Roman
Catholic Church who are regarded as suitable candidates for the
papacy. By extension, the term can be applied to anybody aspiring
to some exalted position, usually in government. It suggests not
just that they are senior and capable enough but also that they
have some aura of leadership. However, away from a Catholic context,
the term seems a bit forced.

Friday night was a real blast. Actually, it was for most of the night. But, as with things which begin well, this one ended a bit sourly. It had to happen, I suppose. Doesn't stop me from feeling angry and helpless. Again.

To you -- next time, I will punch you for real. I will knock you out and drag you where you need to be.

To you -- thank you. You put up with more than even a best friend could ask. I owe you big time.

Yesterday I felt shitty. I did little. Today I felt great and did some. Probably not enough. It happens.

Things which I love right now:
LCM
The people of LCM
Laughing with the people of LCM
and eating LCM's food

Also,
long phone calls
sunshine
warm jackets
sleeping in
bacon

That is not a comprehensive list by any means.

Permanent good can never be the outcome of untruth and violence. -Mahatma Gandhi
