I can't even remember my 16th birthday. I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary. Except that my dad took me to a Paul McCartney concert the next month, which was my big present. Tell Lisa that your friend who has never met her (have I?) wishes her a very happy birthday. (There is so much pronoun confusion in that previous sentence that I'm not even going to try to fix it.)
I would call you, but since I've come to college, I've developed an irrational fear of telephone calls. Do know, however, that if I weren't batshit crazy, I would be calling you up all the time.
You'd be surprised at some of the crazy phobias I have. But I have no idea where my fear of phones came from. I haven't really had any traumatic phone-related incidents in the past eight months. But every time I dial a number, my brain thinks up ten different reasons why I should not hit the call button. It's rather odd.
I have that phone phobia too. I've always had it about calling buisnesses, relatives, friends who are not very very close, etc. I don't even know why but I definitely know the feeling.
and ps, it wasn't really you I was talking about on the calling thing. Although I wouldn't mind if you decided to get over your fear by facing it head-on and calling me. ;D

I know about your phone phobia, Eva. That's not so abnormal. But Nick's seems to be, especially since it's come on all of a sudden.
