Year askew
2008 was not my most favorite year. Let's keep it at that.
But hopefully 2009 will prove up to the task of being better and more fortuitous.
My big accomplishment for today was taking a shower by myself and washing my hair. Sounds less important than it was. I have never been so grateful as to bathe as I was today. Soap and water are your friends. It can make you into a new person.
I helped to fold laundry and hope to help with a few more chores today.
Here's hoping we're all moving in the right direction.
