On the slug schedule

Well, it's official. I've gone stir crazy. I have cabin fever and space madness.

As much as I am exhausted by physical exertion at this point, I thought about suggesting that we take the dogs for a walk today just so I could get out of the house. I volunteered to go to the fencing academy so Alex could go work out or just get some chores done there. I'm just getting antsy. Not a great sign.

I'm supposed to be demure and taking it easy. I'm busy hatching maniacal schemes to get out of the house and move around a little bit. Slight conflict of interest. I just need to make it to Monday so the surgeon can give me the green light on my ankle. I just need to not screw it up until then. That way I can get some input from him in order to combat the space madness.

Sadly I want to do chores, since we have discovered that Alex's tidying gene is super recessive. He told me I have to get better and go back to work so I can stop noticing all the things he isn't doing. Heh.

Well, at least we haven't killed each other yet. We're still very much on the same weirdo dynamic as we always are. Which is mighty fine.

Oh and yesterday, one of Alex's fencing friends came over to "babysit" while Alex went out to run errands. Her name is Michele. She and her girlfriend have a Greyhound. So there was much chatter about sighthound-y goodness. Which reminds me that I need to buy Inari some more winter coats, since she outgrew her sweater. But we set up a play date for the two dogs to go run their collective butts off and have a great time. I can't wait for that to happen.
