Ignoring you? Not really...
There has been quite a bit going on.
We definitely got the house we had our hopes on in the Art Museum area. We have the lease in our possession and all we need to do is sign it and send it back. Move in date is August 15th. I'm really excited.
We found a cool bar that is near the place we are moving to that does a lot of indie music shows. We saw a burlesque review there, that left much to be desired. We had a surprisingly good dinner there, so we at least know once place to go drink, eat and be merry at. They have Woodchuck cider on tap. That makes me happy.
iPhones were finally purchased. I have to say I am pleased with them. They have a lot of applications that are a great waste of time if that is what you are looking for. And it's nice to know that I have all my stuff centralized if I can't bring my Macbook with me.
I gave my two week notice at my job. And got an offer of employment from one of my customers. His office is in Princeton, so it wouldn't be close to where I am moving to. But it is near the train station, so it's worth considering especially if they express their interest with money. I'm not sure if I want to stay in the industry, but the idea of having an offer of employment out there when things are not looking cheery on the job front is comforting.
Things are going relatively well if we can get packed up and moved quickly. Just waiting for that chance is seeming like forever.
