Posted on the
twop boards regarding Six Feet Under on the speculation/spoiler thread:
The only thing wrong with our Hoyt is the father theory is that Maya has blonde hair. No one in Lisa's family is blonde and Hoyt has dark hair. The gene for brown hair is dominant over the gene for light-colored hair, so unless both Hoyt and Lisa were heterozygous carriers (Aa x Aa) for the blonde-hair trait, there is no way Maya could be Hoyt's. And if they are both heterozygous carriers (Aa), then still there would only be a 25% chance that the recessive trait would be passed on to their offspring.
Seriously, that is just putting in way too much thought.
In other news, I hope my computer dies before me.
