(no subject)
A great day deserves an entry.... so here it is:-)
Today I got up, worked in the office and taught lessons as usual, and then...the fabulous Nick Place calls. So now, instead of night home alone watching old movie musicals, I'm headed back to Portland to see Nick, Kevin, Adam, and Sam play with two other bands at the Deering Grange. This would have been enough to make my day pretty good- but it gets better.
When I get to the Grange, I find my friends Elizabeth and Jaeger are there. I hadn't seen either one of them in ages! So, the first band plays, then the guys play, and they put on an amazing show. I mean I've known these guys since my junior year of high school, but damn I've never seen them be so hot... I mean ...like sweaty. (Since it was like 110 degrees) The energy and dancing made me super happy!
After their band finished Jenessa and I walked down to Libs for ice cream....mint chocolate ship arctic blast..mmm mm good.
So at like 11 ish, I take Nick and Sam in my car and we meet Kevin, Nicole and Paul at Portland Hall for some good old fashioned fun:-)
After several hours of janelle/nick banter with the occassional sexual proposition from Kevin- Nick, Sam and I hit the road. I dropped Nick off first, and Sam and I decide that we're not tired....
Here we come riverside golf course! (at like 1:30 in the morning) Great night for star gazing:-) It felt really nice to lay on the wet grass and watch the few clouds drift over the stars. Not to mention, the company wasn't to shabby either;-)
And now I'm home, and I'm still not tired yet. So I'm writing in livejournal for the first time since school let out. Hope you enjoyed, though i think the events of this day only I could really appreciate.
