Time sinks
Custom content downloading is worse than TV tropes. You go looking for one thing, follow a link, and pretty soon it's hours later. ARGH!
(however, with the new computer, it no longer takes more than half-an-hour to go from nothing to full game, so my downloads folder can stand it, at least)
