Happy Easter!
Happy Easter, everybody!
We've had a pretty nice Easter, all things considered. I snuck Mal's Easter basket on the table next to him this morning before he woke up, and then my mom came over to bring us her traditional Easter bread for breakfast and give us each a little basket. After she left, I cooked up a huge order of bacon for Mal, who was just cravin' bacon, while he worked on his video game. We spent most of the day quietly, just hanging around the house, since that's all Mal's able to do just now. In the afternoon, I headed over to my parents' for a couple of hours to have Easter dinner with them and my grandma, but then left pretty quickly so Mal wouldn't be home alone for too long. He's really in a lot of pain still, so I was worried about him. When I got home, I heated up some of our Easter dinner that Mom sent home for him, and since then we've just been hanging out again - me on the computer, and him playing video games. All in all, it's been a good day - time spent with family, time spent with my sweetheart, and presents from the Easter Bunny. Hope everyone else's Easter has been just as good!
