Beginning
I'm fairly new to posting to this whole 'LJ' thing, although I've enjoyed reading fic produced here for a good year. So, whoever is reading this forgive me for the utter banality...I really have no idea what to say. (This is the main reason why blogging has never appealed to me, whereas I always love writing fanfiction/original writing .)
Anyway, I finally got bit by the fic bug, however, and I decided to finally man up and get a journal myself. I've found that the communities here are fairly close knit and cozy (at least the ones I'm interested in joining) and that appeals to me. If you find a Temeraire/Reboot!Star Trek (oh, yes, I went there) fic, you know why I joined. There's just not much interest for that sort of thing on FF.net, and here, specialized writing can cater to specialized interests.
Also...this whole system is kind of confusing...so if anyone wants to help me, that would be greatly appreciated.
