Busy Day

Well, it's over, and I can't tell how it went, unfortunatly. I'd feel a lot better if Mr.O Selznick had told me something, but he just patted me on the back and told me to have a wonderful night. Which I did have, but I'll talk about that later. First, there is good news and bad news about Intermezzo. The good news is:I got the part!!!! The part of Anita Hoffman, the piano teacher,or something around there. I got the part! I got the part! Oh my, you should have heard me when I got to the apartment! I believe people think I went crazy or something! Oh, yes, the bad news:I have to see a speech coach to tone down my accent, which I thought ahead of time. That wasn't too bad, and-in front of me-they were very kind.

But the best part of my night was with Pia and Peter and the resteraunt for dinner, and then the show. Pia was a dear in both:quiet at the show, talkative during dinner. She's still in the middle of making baby noises and talking, so she can get confusing. But during this dinner, she actually said a full sentence. She said-a little odd, yes-:"How long are we going to be here,Da?""Ma?" It's so odd for her to say that, to say a complete sentence, so Peter and I just glanced at each other. "Well,Pia, we'll be living here. And we'll be fine, darling, you'll see.Ma's gonna get a new job, and we're going to be so happy here!" Pia looked so happy, and our poor waiter looked so confused, as we were talking all in Swedish.

Oh my, ever since the play Pia's been focused on becoming a dancer, and now I believe Peter's patience is wearing thin. And I'm tired, and on and on.Well, tommorow is the day of rest, and then I get to meet the rest of the cast! And begin my speech lessons...oh well, the good comes with the bad, doesn't it? I pray all of the rest of the cast is kind. Thank you for all your wonderful thoughts that I found! Good night to all, see everyone around Hollywood!

Your Own Very Happy~Ingrid
