Today is Tolkien Reading Day. In honor, I've read a passage from The Hobbit, from the chapter "Barrels out of Bond." I chose this section because I visited a location (Aratiatia Falls) where part of this scene for the movie has been filmed. :-D

A great choice! I always get a kick out of all those barrels with Dwarfs and one Hobbit bobbing down the river.
