Glad my alma mater A&M made it to the basketball playoffs...too bad they lost to Purdue. I have started writing/updating at a fairly frequently rate--yay! My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and my big gift from my family was Silver Surfer #1 (from 1968!!!! woah!)
I just earned my Red Belt in Taekwondo this past weekend. Work is going well, a patient brought me a pair of earrings today that she made...in case you didn't know I adore earrings--that is my jewelry of choice.
And sadly, from reading a post of Facebook I just learned that one of my best online friends, Linda, also known on FFN as Kanzen ne Tsuki, died of pneumonia earlier this month. I had recently started re-writing and adding on to a story I had co-written with Linda years ago (Life at Saitou's Ranch) thanks to some probing by Cat Foxglove. Linda was a brilliant writer and a lovely person through and through and dang it! I'm going to miss her!
Mortality is a depressing thing to realize.
