well, unfortuntely my birthday celebration part 2 with hopi and friends needs to be postponed due to this blizzard we re currently experiencing. i hate the winter . i found this quiz and took it- how appropriate is this!

anyway, yesterday we had a half day at school. so some coworkers (friends- they get mad when i call them coworkers) and i went to our usual friday spot supposedly just for lunch-(houlighans) it was fun- got a few phonecalls while i was there and then well, basically got stranded there because the snow was not improving. the plan was to wait for it to clam down a bit- it didnt. got home around 8:30 pm. then watched how to lose a guy in 10 days with a friend. so all in all - had a great birthday
sorry i am missing spending it with some of you today- unfortunately we cant control the weather- kills the weather.....
so today- the blizzard continues and my friend and i usually go out to breakfast on sundays- she calls today and they want to go today instead. dont know why but we go- against our better judgement. so the place we go to is maybe 10 minutes away- it took us over an hour to get there. meanwhile- we slid on the turnpike and spun around- a complete 360- we all remained calm though because there was noone on the road, we werent spinning fast, and a big snow bank stopped us. it was scary though- but we're all fine- we were just a little shaken up. we laughed about it later- at the fact that we were all calm and just sitting in this car spinning on the turnpike! i swear we were on crack this morning- anyway, this is why i need to move to florida!!!! or hawaii!
