The first half of summer went so fast and yet, all I did was work, pack, and move. Our new place is beautiful and I am glad that I will be coming back to it mostly put together and with Chris in it.
The second half of summer is here and so is my flight out to Germany. I am nervous and anxious and excited and sad and happy and afraid and overwhelmed. I know I am going to miss Chris very very very much because we have never been apart for more than a weekend in the 5 years we have been together. As the trip gets closer and closer, I have become more excited and less nervous, which is the exact opposite of what I thought was going to happen. My flight leaves from Houston at 4:55pm this evening and I will arrive in Frankfurt, Germany at 8:55am, which is 2 in the morning here. I will ride a train to Cologne, be picked up from the train station, taken to the AIB (Academy for International Education in english), and picked up from there by my host family. Eeee.
