virgin pina coladas on the rocks = never again
It's Friday, but it's not the weekend for me yet- gotta work tomorrow, 10-6.
So now I've immersed myself into the typical 40 hour work week that American society knows so well. At times I feel tired, but then I try to remind myself that I'm not doing too much and that there are work-a-holics out there who put in 60-100 hour weeks. (Or is that just in the Grisham novel I'm currently reading?)
Plus, I feel somewhat accomplished by the end of the day (or afternoon, in some cases) since I know I earned money and I did what I should have.
Quick updates all around- watched The Break-Up on Tuesday night. Wasn't a fan, sadly. For my detailed opinion, IM.
Belle_pod, sadly, has been completely replaced. :( When I took it to the Apple store, they just replaced her with a new one. So I named this one Alastair, and took a vow to take better care of it. First step: buying accessories for it (those rubber skin things!)
What else? Hm, Spiderman 3 is still being filmed this weekend around my area! Maybe they're doing a re-shoot since it was rainy all week. I hope I see someone cool.
And a few words of advice: NEVER make pina coladas when you don't have rum, and more importantly, a blender (or adequately crushed ice). It was so funny because last night my friends and I went through so much trouble to make pina coladas to drink during the re-run of the MTV Movie awards... only to find out that the mix+water+chunky ice = NASTY. I even tried crushing the ice with one of my high heeled shoes. Damn, worst idea EVER! But at least, a story worth laughing about. :)
