Cool, Creepy, or Somewhere In the Middle? ...or, Hubert Robert John and the Grover Washingtons
I found the number of a friend from Austin I lost touch with a couple of years ago and I'm really tempted to call him to say hi. I know it's been a fairly long time, but we always had a great time when we hung out. In fact, some of the most (non-sexual) fun I ever had while living there was with him and our losing touch was entirely circumstantial.
Would calling would be a creepy invasion of privacy after this much time, or would that be okay?
I should also add that for the last 6 months or so, I've been in another one of my introverted phases and I've been neglecting my friends a little bit. It's normal for even my closest friends and I to go a few months without really seeing or talking to one another; I know most people aren't like this, so this is probably where most of my uncertainty is actually coming from.
**Edit: The number is no longer current and a lot of people in the Austin area have his name, which means I'm back at square one. It's really a shame I have a major aversion to even vaguely stalker-ish tendencies. So it goes. Wherever you are, Mike, I hope you're doing well.
