This journal is almost entirely friends only. If you are friended now, you will probably stay as such. If you would like to be added, please comment to this post.
Hey, I have you on my friends list, but I don't think I'm on yours. Do you mind adding me? :) You have a very interesting life! I'm just boring... ;P j/k!
Well, I finally meandered back to hunter princess and noticed you want my secret for mane pulling! So, better late than never, here it is:
Take your clippers apart (any clippers will probably work, I just use my little Oster finishers). When you dismantle them, the business end will come apart in two major pieces. The larger, flatter piece (the outermost part when assembled) looks like a comb, yeah? Use it to pull the mane, it's got a sharp edge and instead of YANKING, it will more or less slice through the hair you're holding after you 'tease' up the shorter bits. (See what I'm saying? Use the clipper blade in place of your normal comb.) Takes a smidge of practice but will look just like a 'traditional' job, in 1/4 the time and way less pain and suffering.
Until you get used to this method, maybe leave a little extra, it IS a little different than traditional but it looks the same once you get the hang of it. I use this method on any many I pull and they look great.
