It's hard to believe that I went to Michigan and came back to Seattle already. Here are the highlights from my trip to the Mitten:
- Seeing family
- Seeing friends
- Buying my wedding dress
- Picking out invitations (which we got a great deal on, thus me deciding not to make them)
- Planning lots of details for the ceremony and reception
- Asking my nieces and nephews to be a part of the wedding
- Spending Christmas with my family, Josh, and Josh's family
It was definitely a wonderful trip! Some Christmas present highlights include:
- A SLAP CHOP!!!! (I cannot wait to slap and chop a bunch of veggies for stir fries, make salsa, and all other kinds of goodies)
- Etched crystal champagne flutes with my and Josh's names and wedding date
- Beautiful jewelry from my parents and sister, including a necklace and bracelet my sister Lauren made to potentially wear for the wedding
- Movies (including Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre, a collection of DVDs I've loved since childhood)
- My sister's teal knee-length coat
- Etc.... the point is that it was a wonderful Christmas full of joy and love and goodies :)
